The University of Dubrovnik (UNIDU), established in 2003 and located in the UNESCO World Heritage city of Dubrovnik, is a modern public university with approximately 2,000 students and six departments. UNIDU is strongly committed to quality assurance, evidence‑based governance and alignment with European Higher Education Area standards. The University is actively engaged in international cooperation, capacity building and EU‑funded projects, contributing to institutional modernisation, digital transformation and the strengthening of inclusive and innovative learning environments. Through its academic departments and specialised units, most notably the Centre for Research of Digital Transformation (CREDO), UNIDU supports research, training and collaboration initiatives that promote digital skills development, societal resilience and international academic integration.

The university educates around 15,000 students, including more than 2,000 international students from over 50 countries, and engages thousands of additional learners through professional training programmes. WSB employs a large academic and administrative staff and hosts specialised centres focused on technology transfer, business engineering, economic cooperation, and modern education methods. The university is strongly engaged in research, innovation, and international cooperation, participating in European university alliances and maintaining partnerships with academic, business, and public sector organisations. Its high educational standards are supported by recognised international accreditations and strong experience in international mobility and collaborative projects.
Institut de Haute Formation aux Politiques Communautaires (IHF) established in Brussels in 2003, specializes in VET, adult education, and higher education. With training provided to over 5,500 learners, IHF focuses on entrepreneurship, digital and soft skills, and EU policies and regulation. They have significant experience in managing and disseminating CBHE projects under Erasmus+, leveraging a strong international network for innovative project contributions. As an active member of the DIGCOMP community of practice, IHF contributes to digital competences in education. Specializing in skills, competences, and human development, particularly micro-credentials, IHF brings over 20 years of experience in EU-funded projects and expertise in EU educational policies. Their role in the MICRO4ASIA project includes leveraging this expertise in both horizontal and technical work packages, and providing insights on micro-credential design and delivery.
The University of Customs and Finance (UCF) is a public university located in Dnipro, Ukraine, established in 2014 through the merger of the Academy of Customs Service of Ukraine and the Dnipropetrovsk State Academy of Finance. Recognized by the World Customs Organization and the International Network of Customs Universities, UCF is the leading higher education institution in Ukraine specializing in customs training and related fields. UCF offers bachelor’s, master’s and PhD programmes in more than 30 specialties and educates around 6,000 students with the support of over 250 academic staff members. The university comprises the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and International Legal Relations and four faculties covering management, finance, innovative technologies, and economics. UCF maintains strong international cooperation with organizations such as the World Customs Organization, UNECE, EUBAM, Argonne National Laboratory (USA), and numerous universities and research institutions across Europe and Asia.
The Bohdan Khmelnytskyi National Academy of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (NASB) is a public higher education institution located in Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine, dedicated to training professionals for the State Border Guard Service and related security fields. Established in 1992, the academy offers state-accredited programmes in border security, law enforcement, leadership, and operational service training, combining academic and practical preparation for careers in public safety and security. NASB promotes international cooperation and academic exchange, engaging with partner institutions and contributing to research and educational development in security and defence sectors.
The Penitentiary Academy of Ukraine (ASPS) is a public higher education institution located in Chernihiv, Ukraine, specialising in education and training for the penitentiary system, law enforcement, and public security sectors. The academy provides higher education programmes focused on law, security management, and professional training for the State Criminal-Executive Service of Ukraine. ASPS combines academic education with applied training and research, supporting the preparation of qualified professionals for public service and security institutions. The academy also promotes international cooperation and academic development through partnerships with educational and research organisations.
