Project Summary

The BIG-U project addresses the multiple crises currently affecting the higher education sector in Ukraine, by strengthening the international dimension of less experienced and small-scale Ukrainian universities that are newcomer organisations in the Erasmus programme and are located in remote regions To achieve this goal, the project focuses on enhancing the management and administrative capacity of targeted HEIs by strengthening their international relations offices and developing internationalisation strategies

Project objectives

1. Deliver an intensive capacity-building programme for International Relations Offices at Ukrainian universities
2. Develop a comprehensive Internationalisation Toolkit for Ukrainian universities
3. Prepare tailored internationalisation strategies for three Ukrainian universities
4. Multiply project outcomes across emerging and remote Ukrainian HEIs
5. Strengthen and expand the national network of Erasmus-engaged universities with limited exposure to the Erasmus programme
6. Deliver advanced training in Project Cycle Management
7. Design of qualification requirements in Project Cycle Management
